Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance (WPWA) has received a PPL Foundation grant in support of their Testing Facility. Offering GED and other certification testing services, enables individuals to have reasonable and convenient access to testing facilities.

“With the generous support of the PPL Foundation, WPWA’s testing facility continues to offer a service that will enable an individual to become vested in their own personal growth through education, and become more marketable and employable,” said Lucyann Vierling, Executive Director, WPWA.  “PPL is proud to support workforce development and job creation in the communities that we serve,” stated Alana Roberts, Regional Affairs Director for PPL Electric Utilities.

Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance is the Community Education Council of Wayne and Pike Counties and is located at 92 Main Avenue, Hawley, behind the Sunoco.  If you would like more information about the organization or would like to learn how you can help invest in a future of well-trained employees, visit www.wpworkforce.org or call 570-390-7613.
