Program Description: Leading Others
This workshop builds awareness of the nature of leadership in today's organizations and what employees expect of their supervisors as leaders. Two important areas where supervisors enact leadership-giving direction and delegating responsibility-are covered. Exercises are designed to increase planning and execution skills to better prepare supervisors to meet their leadership challenges.

This series of interactive workshops are designed for participants who want to explore topics that will help in their workplaces, careers and personal life, and are taught by Penn State professionals who have their pulse on what is needed in today's work environment. In partnership with Workforce Alliance, Penn State Scranton will begin the workshops in January 2022. The successful completion of these workshops plus 10 additional workshops can lead to the obtainment of a Penn State Supervision Essentials non-credit certificate.
