In today’s connected world, digital skills are essential for success in work, education, healthcare, and everyday life. Workforce Alliance is committed to ensuring that residents across Wayne & Pike Counties have access to the technology, training, and support needed to thrive in an increasingly digital economy.

Through partnerships with the WEDCO’s Stourbridge Tech Hub, and the Wayne Library Alliance, Workforce Alliance has expanded digital literacy services throughout our rural communities, bringing technology education and hands-on support directly to where people live and learn.

Making an Impact

Over the past year:

• 172 individuals participated in digital literacy workshops and classes.

• 145 residents received personalized one-on-one technology assistance.

• Services were delivered across multiple community locations, helping reduce barriers to access and expand opportunities for learning.

These efforts have helped participants build confidence using technology, access online resources, strengthen workforce readiness, and stay connected in an increasingly digital world.

Bringing Technology Support to the Community

A cornerstone of this initiative is “Ask Alexa Wednesdays” at the Stourbridge Tech Hub, a welcoming drop-in program where residents can receive practical, hands-on technology support tailored to their needs.

Support from the Wayne County Community Foundation has also helped offset travel costs, enabling Workforce Alliance to deliver services directly to libraries and communities throughout Wayne County. Through the Wayne Library Alliance, residents can access technology training and individualized assistance close to home, making digital learning more accessible than ever.
