The Need

Starting in January 2027, all able-bodied adults (ages 19-64) currently enrolled in Expanded Medicaid will be required to re-enroll every six months or risk losing their health insurance. Without coverage, many may be forced to seek care through emergency rooms without the ability to pay, placing additional strain on our county's healthcare system. To help address this need, we are identifying locations close to where people live so they can conveniently access re-enrollment support.

While we do not yet know the exact number of participants, we anticipate needing a space for approximately two hours per month on the same day and time each month. We estimate up to 11 people in attendance at one time: 5 clients, 5 helpers, and 1 coach. The space should have easy street access and tables and chairs that allow for private one-on-one meetings. If available, access to the internet, laptops, and a copier/scanner for creating PDF copies of required documents would be helpful, but is not required.

This survey is not a commitment. It is simply a first step in identifying potential locations. Please complete one survey for each possible site. Our goal is to develop a list of available locations in every ZIP code throughout the county.
